ATX DoubleTreat Lodge
Privacy policy
Effective September 14, 2026
Who we are
ATX DoubleTreat Lodge is home dog boarding in South Austin, Texas (ZIP 78745), run by one person, Gentry, from home. This website, atxdoubletreatlodge.com, is ours. ATX DoubleTreat Lodge is a trade name of flashappfoundry LLC.
Questions about this policy, or about something you have already sent us: email gentry@atxdoubletreatlodge.com, or text or call 737-415-0424.
The short version
This site has no accounts, no logins and no customer database. It does not save what you type. The message form does not send anything to us by itself: it fills in an email in your own mail app, and you decide whether to send it. Booking and payment happen on Rover, not here.
The “Send a message” form
The form asks for your drop-off date, your pickup date, whether your dog is small or medium, your dog’s name (optional), whether your dog enjoys other dogs, and anything else you want us to know (optional, up to 300 characters).
When you submit it, the website sends nothing and saves nothing. It opens a pre-filled email in the mail app on your own device, addressed to gentry@atxdoubletreatlodge.com, with your answers in the body. You can edit it, or not send it at all: it reaches us only when you send it. When you close the form, the answers are cleared from the page.
Why we ask: the dates tell us whether we are free, and the size and sociability answers tell us whether your dog is likely to fit the small group we host. Please don’t put medical records or anything sensitive in the form. Food, medication and routine are things we go through together at the meet-and-greet.
Email, text and calls
When you email, text or call us, we have your message and the address or number it came from, and we use them to answer you, arrange a meet-and-greet, and plan your dog’s stay. Our email is hosted by Titan, which stores our mailbox. Texts and calls go through our mobile carrier. We delete emails and texts within 60 days after the inquiry or the stay they relate to, and we keep no other record of a stay.
Booking on Rover
The “Book on Rover” links take you to our profile on rover.com. Rover is a separate company: dates, payment and the messages you send there are handled by Rover under Rover’s privacy policy, not this one. As a sitter we see what Rover shows us about a booking.
Following us
The Facebook, Instagram and TikTok links are plain links to our profiles. This site has no social buttons, embeds or tracking pixels. Once you are on those platforms, their own policies apply.
Photos of your dog
We send you photos of your dog while you are away. We post a guest dog’s photo publicly only with the consent of the dog’s owner.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
As of the effective date above, this site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising code of its own. Everything the page loads (text, images, fonts, icons) comes from our own domain; the aggregated visit counts our host provides are described under “Hosting” below. We plan to add Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads conversion tag; when we do, we will update the date above and this paragraph, and the description below will apply.
Those two Google tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and tell Google which pages you looked at, roughly where you are (from your IP address), what device and browser you used, which site or ad sent you here, and whether you then messaged, called or clicked through to Rover. We use that to see whether our ads are worth running and which pages people actually read. Google processes that data as our analytics and advertising provider, under Google’s own terms; we see reports, not your name. We do not sell it. We also use Google Ads remarketing: if you have visited this site, you may later see our ads on Google and on sites that show Google ads.
If you would rather not be measured: your browser’s settings control cookies; Google’s My Ad Center controls ad personalization on Google’s own services; and Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on for Analytics.
Our advertising tools and Google user data
We run our own Google Ads advertising with an internal tool of ours, registered with Google as “ATX DoubleTreat Lodge Ads Tooling”. It signs in to Google to read and manage our own Google Ads account: campaigns, budgets, keyword research and performance reports.
That tool does not access any Google account other than our own, and it does not read, store or share the Google account data of visitors to this site or of our customers. The Google Ads data it retrieves is used only to run and improve our own advertising; we do not sell it. The tool does not keep copies of downloaded reports, and no contractor or agency has access to it.
Hosting
This site is a set of static files hosted by here.now. Like any web host, here.now records requests to the site (the page asked for, the referring site, a rough country, and whether the visitor is a known crawler) in order to serve the site and to give us aggregated visit counts. It keeps raw records only for a short window and sets no tracking or advertising cookies. We see totals, not individual visitors, and we run no server of our own.
Who else is involved
| Who | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| here.now | Hosts the site’s files |
| Squarespace Domains | Registers atxdoubletreatlodge.com and answers its DNS |
| Titan | Hosts our email |
| Rover | Booking, messages and payment, under Rover’s own policy |
| Advertising, and analytics once installed; also the ads tool described above | |
| Facebook, Instagram, TikTok | Only if you follow the links to our profiles |
How long we keep things
Nothing from the form: the site stores nothing. Emails and texts you send us: deleted within 60 days after the inquiry or the stay they relate to. Booking records: kept by Rover under its own policy.
Your choices
You can skip the form and just text, call or email us. You can ask us to delete emails or texts you have sent: email gentry@atxdoubletreatlodge.com and we will, unless we still need them for a stay that is booked or in progress. Your browser controls cookies; Google’s settings control ad personalization. We do not sell personal information. From time to time we may email past customers about openings or news; each of those emails says how to stop them, and we stop when you ask.
Children
This site and our service are for adults arranging care for their dogs. We do not direct the site to children under 13 and do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
We update this page when what we do changes, and the effective date at the top shows the last change. If a change is significant we will say so here.
